SUGGESTED ITINERARY

Day 1, Madrid

Upon arrival at Madrid Airport, our driver will pick you up to transfer you to the selected hotel in the center where you will stay the next three night. Rest of the day at your leisure to explore the city. We always suggest that Madrid is a city that needs time to explore and discover by yourself. You can visit the Royal Palace, enjoying a walk through the Retiro Park and visiting the Botanical Garden, shopping time in some of the best corners and shops in town, strolling around Gran Via and Plaza Mayor or attending to some performances of flamenco in a theatre. Overnight stay in Madrid.

Day 2, Madrid

Breakfast. This morning you will meet our official local guide for a guided visit to the Prado Museum, one of the oldest on the continent, and beyond any doubt, one of the richest. All the great masters are on display and some, such as Rubens, Velázquez, Goya and El Greco, have numerous of their works on display, with many being world-renowned. Later, you will visit the National Reina Sofia Art Museum, housed in a remarkable structure which was once Madrid´s General Hospital. Our two-part visit begins as the lecturer leads us on a walk-through and in-depth visit to its permanent collection, including its most renowned painting, Picasso´s Guernica. After the guided visit, enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your own. Overnight stay.

Day 3, Madrid

Breakfast. Free day to visit some of the many museums located in the center of Madrid such as the Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, the National Museum of Decorative Arts, the Museo Caixa Forum Museum of Madrid and the Naval Museum of Madrid. Overnight stay. 

Day 4, Madrid / Bilbao

Breakfast. This morning you should take the train to the north of Spain, arriving at the next destination of this cultural journey, the city of Bilbao. After arriving and checking in at the selected hotel, you will visit with our expert local guide the famous Guggenheim Museum to discover one of the most sophisticated museums in our country that houses an interesting collection of contemporary art. Then, you will enjoy free time to taste the famous Basque cuisine in any of the Restaurants and taverns in the old town of Bilbao. Overnight stay.

Day 5, Bilbao / Barcelona   

Breakfast. Today you will take the train to move to the last city you´ll discover, the Mediterranean city of Barcelona. After arriving and checking in at the selected Hotel, you will enjoy a guided tour with our expert guide for one of the most important museums in the city, the Picasso Museum. In a formidable scenario created by the joining of various Gothic palaces along the Medieval street of Montcada, has been installed this unusual museum, which is in a continual state of expanding its exposition rooms as the collection increases. Visitors will find here works by Picasso in many media including pencil, oils, ceramics as well as those of difficult categorization. Overnight stay.

Day 6, Barcelona

Breakfast. Free day to enjoy many of the Museums the city holds such as the National Art Museum, the Contemporary Art Museum or the Joan Miro Foundation. Overnight stay.

Day 7, Barcelona

Breakfast. Then, our driver will pick you up at your Hotel to transfer you to the Barcelona Airport to take the flight back home. End of services.
