El Expreso de La Robla is an oportunity to travel on a vintage, but with all the menities of any hotel, at an affordable price. The train, which combines a vintage design with modern amenities, has three lounges and four couchette wagons, where each compartment has its own fully-equipped bathroom, air-conditioning and all the latest technical features. It is designed for the passenger to enjoy the pleasure of travelling and watch the beautiful countryside along the route through the train's generous windows. At night, the train stops at one of the stations so that the passengers can spend a pleasant evening on or off the train and can get a good night's sleep. A coach is always provided to take the passengers to those spots not immediately on the train's route. A guide also accompanies the passengers and points out the hidden gems along the route. Breakfast is served on board the train every morning, which is when it sets off along the next stage of the route, so that the pleasure of breakfast is intensified the spectacular landscapes of the north of Spain. Lunch and dinner are served at previously selected typical restaurants.


Day 01. Gijon- Rivadeo
The train will depart from Gijón FEVE Train Station at 03:45 pm. Passengers may check in aboard from 01:30 pm to 03:30 pm. Once on the train, you can settle into your accommodation and you will be shown around the lounge areas. The first stop will be in Galicia on the banks of the River Eo estuary. Dinner in the Parador and overnight stop at Ribadeo.

Day 02. Rivadeo- Ortiguira
After a restful night, while we have breakfast on the train, we will reach Viveiro a beautiful medieval town. Visit. Later on, the train will take us to Ortigueira, from where we will travel by coach to Cedeira. Lunch. After lunch, we will continue our trip to the Sanctuary of San Andrés de Teixido, from where we will go to Cabo Ortegal, known for its impressive cliffs and view from the northern-most point of Spain . From there we will go to Cariño, before returning to Ortigueira, where we will dinner and spend the night.

Day 03. Ortigueira- Ferrol
After a delicious breakfast on the train we will travel by coach, as if we were pilgrims, to Santiago de Compostela. We will visit the Old Quarter and the Cathedral. Later on, after lunch, we will visit La Coruña the Torre of Hércules, the Paseo Marítimo and the Plaza de Mª Pita. In the afternoon we will reach Ferrol. Dinner and night in Ferrol.

Day 04. Ferrol- Gijon
In the morning, between cliffs and mist, we will reach Foz, from we will travel to Mondoñedo, whose Cathedral enjoys a predominant position. Later, we will visit the beaches of the Lugo coast. Lunch in the area. In the afternoon we will take the train to Navia, on our way to Gijon where we will arrive around 19.45 hours.

Sleeping Cars: El Expreso de La Robla has four sleeping cars, each of which has 7 compartments. The compartments are fitted with berths, two per  compartment, wardrobe, luggage carrier, reading light, air-conditioning, background music and loudspeaker, telephone, etc, where the emphasis  is on a young and modern atmosphere that adpats to your needs. The power Supply is 220V. The Train wagons are interconnected, which means you can easyly go from one end to the other end of train. The train stays in the sttion at night to ensure you can get a good night's sleep. The train will be waiting for you after you. have enjoyed the nightlife to be sampled each place along the route.

The Lounge: The communal areas on El Expreso de La Robla consists of three comfortable lounge wagons, with a permanent bar service and fitted generous windows so the passengers can enjoy the countryside as the train steadily travels on its way. Or you may feel like playing the board gams with the other customers.  Every morning, you can start your day with breakfast from the delicious self-sevice buffet set upin the lounge areas. There will be daily newpapers, magazines, libraries, video library and televison available for the passangers. The lounge areas are air-conditioned and are fitted with background music and loudspeaker system. The Train Services: Medical Service: There is a first-aid kit on board the train. The FEVE medical services are also available for the passengers if needed. The la Robla Express is coordinated with the different health centers along the route. Special Menu: Passengers who require a special diet should request this when making their reservations.
