Sundays E-478 (Barcelona - Zaragoza - San Sebastián - Bilbao - Santander - Santillana - Colombres - Covadonga - Oviedo - Gijón - La Coruña - Santiago - Rías Bajas - Vigo - Salamanca - Madrid) - Apr. 1 to Oct. 21
There exists another Spain to the north, almost a thousand kilometers from the Mediterranean. A Spain that has remained aloof, spiritually and geographically from what was happening to the south and develope a culture that followed its own unique paths. This other Spain there is  luxuriant woods, cut by trout-filled rivers, and crossed by high mountains that are still sanctuary for the brown bear and Iberian wolf. Her cities date back thousands of years and resisted the Romans and Arabs. Some are beautifully refined like San Sebastian, others are magical and charged with mysticism like Santiago de Compostela. In the case of Altamiras, close to Santander, cave paintings were first discovered, the first glorious page in hispanic art. Not far away, was founded in 718, the Asturias Kingdom, from which was iniciated the 8th century reconquest of the Iberian Peninsula from the Moors.  This is a Spain apart, little known by foreing travellers who rarely dare to leave the more usual destinations to the south, but which receives the visitor who likes to explorer lesser known trails with open arms.

Top tour 2012

Everyone knows the classic pilgrimages to Lourdes and Fatima. We can offer a program that combines these with visits to Santiago de Compostela as well as distinct Monasteries where members of the tour will have, in addition to daily Masses, the opportunity to listen to Gregorian chants, visit buildings with some of the best collections of religious relics in the world, follow in the steps of the mystics Santa Teresa and San Juan de la Cruz, celebrate Mass in a number of Romanesque churches and cathedrals, and enjoy the great wealth of artistic and religious richness that Spain has to offer. During Easter Week, the majority of Spanish cities and towns are resplendent with religious processions during which the most precious treasures and figures of the cathedrals and churches are carried through the streets before the admiring gaze of thousands of devotees. A unique experience that not just those who truly live their religion will find awe-inspiring. In addition, we must not neglect to mention the famous Procession of the Virgin of the Rocio, which is celebrated annually at the end of May, and is a magnet for over one million pilgrims from all corners of Spain.
